Instagram Debuts Emoji Slider Sticker for Fun Polling

Instagram today rolled out what it calls the emoji slider sticker. The idea behind this internative sticker is to let people provide more nuanced responses to poll questions. The sliding scale means people can customize their response more acutely. The sticker is available in the sticker selection screen and can be added after you’ve begun a post with a photo or video. People can select from the most popular emoji for the animations. “When you see an emoji slider in a story, just drag the emoji to the left or right and watch it animate as you make your decision. Release the emoji to set your response, and you’ll see the current average of how others have responded so far,” explained Instagram. The new emoji slider stickers are available in the latest version of Instagram for both Android and iOS.
