Instagram today made it possible for users to add songs to their stories. Moving forward, a music icon appears when users add a sticker to a photo or video within the Stories tool. Tapping it opens a library of thousands of songs, says Instagram. The tool lets you browse or search by song title, artist, mood, or genre. People can fast-forward and rewind to find the exact part of the song they want to play along with their story. Alternately, iPhone owners can choose a song before they capture a photo or video and then record video along with the portion of the song they want. Those who view stories accompanied by songs will be able to see a sticker that displays the song title and artist name. Instagram says it is adding new songs to the library every day. The new song support is being added to the latest version of the mobile Instagram app for Android and iOS.
