Ericsson, Samsung Come to Terms Over Patents

Ericsson and Samsung recently resolved a patent dispute concerning 2G and 3G wireless technology. The two companies had battled one another in patent litigation, but a new cross-licensing deal struck between them has led to the withdrawal of the lawsuits. The agreement gives each company the rights to use certain patents from the other in new wireless products.

Never heard about this.

I research Cellular technology and never even heard of this. So honestly I don't care.
You cared enough to post this... 🙄

why can't the big boys play nice too?

Nokia/Qualcomm, i'm looking in your direction 😛
I think it's more Qualcomm, they don't play nice with Nokia or Ericsson, or Broadcom for that matter.

Sometimes, either party can be pricks. Or they both can.

Sometimes, there's no room for compromise or cooperation....sometimes the breach is too damn...
