Today Verizon Wireless announced the availability of the Samsung Gleam. The Gleam is a small flip phone with EV-DO data and is compatible with Verizon's V CAST services. It has a 2 Megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, stereo speakers and supports cards up to 4GB in the microSD slot. It also has what Verizon calls living wallpaper, which lets users check the phone's status. The view of the wallpaper changes to reflect the time of day and can be seen in a city or country view. The Gleam is $150 after $50 mail-in rebate and new agreement.

With a 2 megapixel camera and EVDO data, do we really care?
