Cricket has recently begun offering its customers over-the-air backups for personal data, such as contact lists. The service, called My Backup, syncs and saves contacts to Cricket's servers automatically or whenever the customer chooses. Users will also be able to import contacts from email accounts such as Yahoo into a Web portal. It will cost $2 per month and works on more than 20 models in Cricket's lineup.

Meh
Tmobile already offers this with all their samsungs and new nokia. For free too so nothing to special there.
Backups are fine, but sync is better. The new me.com from apple will do this, however, Danger has been doing this for 8 years.
Glad to see..
that they are catching up with everyone else. It makes them more appealing now. I mean there plans have always been great but now they are getting the phones and the services.
They still need to work on the coverage area. It's a great plan to have for someone who is limited to their metro area but for the average consumer - its really not comparing apples to apples at all. 😕

🤣 That's funny... Verizon Wireless has been offering that for years. I get mine free... LOL 🤣
Us Cellular has already had this?
us cellular has had this for like ever the only difference is that on uscc its free and there isnt an option to import outlook or other contacts.
Oh well the whole thing here is that Cricket just got it. If US Cellular has it, I am sure it isn't news just like Verizon and Sprint having it.
