Today Virgin Mobile USA announced a new unlimited calling plan. The Totally Unlimited plan, which will be available beginning July 1, will give customers unlimited nationwide calling with no roaming or other fees for $80 per month. Add $10 to also get unlimited text messaging, picture messaging, instant messaging, and email. Virgin does not require annual contracts, and customers can pay with cash and/or debit or credit cards.

you pay for what you get
almost every one in here is saying cricket boostmobile and metro is cheaper.... why go with virgin mobile well like i said you pay for what u get metro works in metropolitan areas of Atlanta, Miami, Tampa, San Francisco / Sacramento, Dallas / Fort Worth, and Detroit. cricket has a bigger covrage then metro but still is no where close to covering alot of the united states and boost it the same way it still uses nextel towers with aint that good either but does beat cricket and metro as far as virgin it uses sprint which i would say is one of the best next to verizon so yes you will pay more but get alot better service and less dropped calls so pay for what you want..... want to save some bucks then dont complain to cricket and metro when yo...

Other unlimited
Companies like Metro PCS Cricket and Boost Mobile already have cheaper unlimited everything why does Virgin Mobile think they offer the cheapest 🤣 🤣 🤣
Its only a matter of time before Cricket gives in to Metro PCS merger plans greatly expanding the network of both providers
but with coverage as limited as it is for those two companies, why choose them?
metro doesn't have a very extensive network compared to other prepay carriers.
boost's coverage is larger, but the unlimited plan is only offered in certain areas.

And then in the end, Verizon is just going to buy them too.
WHY people choose Virgin Mobile
The reason people choose Virgin Mobile is the fact it has no contracts and no deposits - As a Sprint Sales Rep we have lots of people come through the door that would LOVE for only 20$ more to benefit from the Simply Everything Plan, BUT They have a large deposit, bad credit, don't want to sign a contract.....
Cricket, Virgin Mobile and the smaller market options are for these customers and unfortunately we as consumers CANNOT compare them to AT&T, T-Mobile or Sprint. Its a different market
Actually it isn't the Cheapest
Once you add $10 for the text mess, etc. It's the same as Sprint PRICE WISE however, with less features, no GPS, Sprint TV or Visual Voicemail, etc.
Obviously it would not have Sprint TV, I meant no TV feature.
This is just another example of an opinion based article, no one does fact-checking anymore.
Airlink Powerlink is $69 a month, and they use Sprint's network too.
they are the cheapest i think, unlimited everything for 50/month. their coverage sucks, but you can also get unlimited calling on 4 phones for 100/month.... thats pretty cheap
VS. Sprint
Doesn't Sprint offer unlimited everything for $20 more? Most people, even the adults that I know, txt, and this is $90 with unlimited voice and txt and I doubt that you can get unlimited data for $10 on Virgin.
I am on Verizon but plan to switch to Sprint when my family kicks me off the plan 😛
And boost mobile can offer everything besides with minutes texting and basic internet for $70 so whats the point in saying they are cheaper 🙄
NOT TO SHABBY
This looks pretty good. Love the no roaming part. Lets see how the market responds. 😁
VM USA has never offered off network roaming. The odds of VM offering off network roaming are almost none.
Roaming is not possible... AT ALL.
