T-Mobile officially acknowledged that it is pushing out maintenance release version 1.1 / RC33 to the HTC G1 phone over the air. Users can expect their phones to update sometime in the next two weeks. The update brings new features and bug fixes. The three new features are Google's Voice Search, which lets users speak search queries rather than type them, Google's new Latitude friend-finding features, and the ability to save pictures from MMS messages to the phone's memory. Firmware 1.1 / RC33 is not associated with "Cupcake".

Adds two things

With this update the G1 will have Google Voice Search and can save pictures from an MMS now. Also addresses a few bugs for the phone.
