Google also responded officially to the FCC's request for more information about the Google Voice application. Google had no part in pulling the application, and provides details about what the application does and how it and other Google services are similar to some of the services offered by Apple. The most sensitive question asked of Google (what explanation did Google receive from Apple for the application's rejection) was unfortunately blocked from public view.
