RIM Snaps Up Web Browser Company

Mobile web browser maker Torch Mobile today announced that it has been acquired by Research In Motion (RIM). Torch created a WebKit-based browser called Iris, which it will now bring to the BlackBerry platform.

sounds cool. wish it had more detail.
RIMs standard browser isn't the greatest one in the world. I am glad they appear to be doing something about it 😁

Other browsers such as the WebOS and Android browsers use Webkit from Iris.

I had this browser for windows mobile, opera is much better RIM must want some of the tech from this company
