AT&T Fires Up 3G Across Vermont

Today AT&T detailed its plans to offer 3G wireless data services in the state of Vermont. Starting this week, AT&T will start rolling out 3G services in Bennington, Brattleboro, Brownsville, Killington, Vernon, Warren, West Dover and White River Junction. A number of other markets, including Burlington, Colchester, Essex Junction, Fayston, Hartford, Jamaica, Jeffersonville, Middlebury, Rutland, South Burlington, St. Albans, Stowe, Waitsfield, West Rutland, West Townshend, West Wardsboro, Williston and Winooski, will have live 3G services by December 31. AT&T said that it has also upgraded all the former Unicel sites, integrating them with its nationwide footprint, and added a dozen new cell sites of its own in Vermont.
