Microsoft Makes SDK Available for Windows Mobile 6.5

Microsoft recently made a new software development kit available for developers interested in writing programs for Windows Mobile 6.5 devices. The SDK includes the tools that will let developers create applications, test them, run emulators and create sample images. The SDK comes in two versions, supporting Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional (touch) and Windows Mobile 6.5 Standard (non-touch). It also comes in a number of languages.

Better catalog of apps to come?

What does this mean for the WM 6.5 consumer? Should we see a flood of new apps in MarketPlace?
Yes, since the market is brand new there are still limited amount of apps. You can also download a third party maretplace full of freeware from freewarepocketpc.net. The app is "OpnMarket 1.0". I forget where i found it but it should be easy to find o...
