Page Plus Cellular Lowers Roaming Fees

Today Page Plus Cellular announced that it has dropped roaming charges from 59 cents per minute to 29 cents per minute. Customers will only be charged this fee when roaming off of Page Plus' network.

Verizon is raising the monthly costs for its postpaid wireless customers by increasing the "administrative fee" from $1.35 to $3.30 per line. The fee applies to voice lines and Verizon says it covers "administrative and telco expenses and costs of complying with regulatory requirements".

Apple Intros Weather API for Apps, Even on Android

Apple has quietly announced WeatherKit, a new API that will let app developers integrate "hyperlocal" weather forecast data into their apps. This is the same kind of specific weather data previously offered by DarkSky, which Apple acquired in 2020.

Please continue to post Page Plus announcements here. I appreciate them greatly. I have talked quite a few friends into signing up. It is helpful to know what is going on with them so that I can talk them up. As for those who do not want news about Page Plus in the future when articles are posted I suppose you could not click on them.
