SanDisk Trots Out 64GB iNAND Drives for Phones

Today SanDisk unveiled a new embedded Flash drives (EFD) with support for the e.MMC 4.4 specification. This chip uses the new three bit per cell X3 technology which will allow this drive to store up to 65GB and be used as a boot drive, to serve system code and for mass storage. The chip is optimized for lower power consumption and the smallest footprint possible.
