Samsung and Metro PCS today announced availability of the Samsung Caliber, a tablet-style phone using Samsung's TouchWiz interface. The Samsung Caliber is available now online and in Metro PCS stores for $250, making the phone the most expensive feature phone in the Metro PCS lineup. The phone features a 3 megapixel camera and GPS navigation with the MetroNavigator GPS navigation system.

What I'd like to see on MetroPCS
1) A version of the Samsung Moment (5 row qwerty phone, with android, that's currently over on Sprint).
2) A version of the Samsung Galaxy (which looks a lot like the Caliber, only with Android).
Give me that, on the Smartphone plan, plus tethering ... and I might just be convinced to go back to MetroPCS.

Does it allow you to download more applications if it doesn't have what you need? Can I download things from the web to my micro-sd card? Can I customize the wallpapers with my own ...
