Today BitStream announced version 2.0 of its Bolt browser, based on WebKit, for mobile devices. Bolt 2.0 beta offers deeper integration with Facebook, and offers Facebook features such as Facebook's instant messaging service and the ability to copy text or links and post them to a Facebook account directly from the browser. Another new feature for Bolt is tabbed browsing, which lets people keep multiple browser windows open at a time and gives them the ability to move between them quickly. Other improvements include faster widget performance and an updated user interface. Bolt 2.0 beta is a free download and is available to Java handset starting today. Bolt says that it is still offering Bolt version 1.7 and Bolt Lite.
