Google Confirms Ad-Share Deals on Search

Today Google emailed Phone Scoop to comment on a prior story about an ad-sharing deal it has with U.S. network operators and handset makers. The spokesperson told Phone Scoop, "We share revenue on search, not on mobile applications. The same is true for non-Android devices that use Google as the default search engine." Google mentioned that this is a standard practice. Search engine use by wireless network operators has seen shifts in recent weeks. T-Mobile has switched from using Yahoo as its default search provider to Google. AT&T has switched from Google to Yahoo. Last fall, Verizon Wireless switched from Google to Bing. Google would not say which network operators and/or which handset makers are in on the deal. A spokesperson said, "Any terms of our agreements with partners are confidential."

I need to get in on some of that Google ad money
Google AdWords, Google AdSense....plenty of people making hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands, even probably millions per month from both of those, along with other online ad revenue methods out there.
Need to throw my hat in that ring, see what happens. Just gotta find a vehicle to start off with.
I like the idea of sitting on a beach with a laptop, checking my websites, sitting back, and enjoying the high life, while making oodles of cash. That's the way to live.
