Verizon Drops Pricing on Palm's webOS Devices
Apr 1, 2010, 9:47 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Starting today, Verizon Wireless is running a promotion on both the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus. The Pre Plus is being offered for just $50, and users can get one for free if they buy one. The Pixi Plus is being offered for $30, also with a buy-one get-one free option. Verizon also said that it will be giving away the Mobile HotSpot application for both phones for free. The software, which allows the Pixi Plus and Pre Plus to act as mobile hotspots, was always free to download, but Verizon has agreed to nix the $20 monthly charge to use it. Users who have already downloaded the application will see a $0 charge for it on their next bill. Verizon didn't say how long the promotions will last.

The Promo Worked...
So far she loves the phone and I am diggin it more than my modded and apped out Storm 1. Plus I got free wifi for the family if needed.
I agree it has 1 or 2 mildly feminine qualities(mirror, color schemes) but I would NOT call it a ladies phone!
mobile hotspot free for short time
