Motorola Publishes Android 2.1 Update Schedule

Motorola has posted a schedule in its support forums that provides a rough timeline for when Motorola handsets will be upgraded to Android 2.1. For handsets in the U.S., the Motorola Backflip (AT&T), Cliq, and Cliq XT (both T-Mobile) can expect to receive Android 2.1 over the air during the second quarter of 2010. Motorola is still evaluating whether or not the Devour will receive the 2.1 upgrade. The timing of the upgrades will be dependent on when Motorola's carrier partners can deliver them.
