According to the Wall Street Journal, RadioShack stores in a number of metropolitan regions have stopped stocking the Palm Pre and Palm Pixi and won't receive any more units to sell. RadioShack had a reseller agreement in place with Sprint, and sold the Sprint version of both phones online and in retail stores. RadioShack no longer lists the Palm phones on its web site, and Phone Scoop confirmed with two different local RadioShack stores that neither of the devices remain in stock. Sprint has commented on the matter and says that RadioShack is indeed phasing out the Palm Pre and Pixi. Sprint spokesman Scott Sloat told Barrons, "This is in line with RadioShack's normal product planning process — there is a designated amount of space in stores for handsets and they work to keep the line up of devices as current as possible." Palm also recently lost a senior software developer and has indicated that it is seeking buyers.

And this is news because?
As if Radioshack had any of them in stock to begin with. That company is about as relevant as a VCR tape.
It's ok because
RadioShack is so irrelevant these days. Everything they carry today can be bought elsewhere for less.

you can still buy a brand-new Palm Pre Plus or Palm Pixi Plus on eBay for either Sprint or Verizon.
