Facebook recently updated its Android application to version 1.2. The new version introduces one new feature: support for messaging. Facebook users will now be able to view threaded messages, sent messages, and updates to subscriptions from their Android phones. The update is a free download from the Android Market.

Almsot POINTLESS!
Facebook for Android still doesn't let me TAG people in pictures I upload, and I don't get notifications for wall posts or replies! I've got to have e-mail notifications just to know that I got a comment, then I gotta check it, click the link, open the browser and respond through the BROWSER instead of the actual APPLICATION! Don't update 'messaging' things, focus on what Blackberry's have already man.
I'll never understand why email isn't good enough. You already get email notifications from people on social networking sites, why not just get email straight from the people, rather than having to click on a link, sign in, and so on,. . .I just don...

i just updated and now stupid thing crashes at startup..i have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times cant get it to work 👿 👿 👿 👿 👿 why did they even do this update is there anyway to rollback update from marketplace??
I saw a lot of comments on the Facebook application in the market saying that it's crashing for a lot of people... I haven't yet updated my Cliq but the moment I do i'm gonna check if mine crashes too... as per rollback... not sure 😢
