HP Buys Palm for $1.2 Billion

HP today announced the purchase of Palm, Inc. for $5.70 per share, or approximately $1.2 billion. The transaction has already been approved by the boards of directors of both companies. Palm's current CEO and chairman, Jon Rubinstein, will remain with the company. The transaction is expected to close during HP's third fiscal quarter, which ends on July 31, 2010.

Like or dislike the style of phones they have, almost all accounts give the OS good reviews.

HP iPAQ Glisten is a phone offered by AT&T. I like the phone but not the OS (Win Mo 6.5) if there were a fusion with WEB OS and Win Mo 6.5 i would defenitly try it out so itΓβΓΒ΄s up to HP to decide the future of HP Palm phones π
