Verizon Wireless has said that beginning Monday, June 7, Android handsets will be able to download the V CAST Video Application from the Android Market. The application will let Android users stream video content from more than 40 networks, such as ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and many others. Verizon was sure to point out that Spanish-language content will also be available, including World Cup Soccer matches. The service will cost $10 per month on top of the data plans already required for Android handsets.

I can't find the Vcast Vido app in the market.

Today IS Monda the 7th. Is 6am too early, is the app going to be available later in the day? What's the deal?

I want this!!! I'm bored on my job, and will take any entertainment I can get!
Ha! Good luck in your quest. 😎

For those dismissing this...

From all indications this is LIVE TV. you Tube is not Live TV, neither is Hulu. I think the biggest advantage of live TV is for sports.

I'm not a baseball fan but I can see using this during college basketball season.
I think your getting Vcast Video & MobileTv confused, it's MobileTv that is live. And MobileTv requires a chip that enabled MediaFlo.

no thanks...

Another 10 dollars for a few videos?? No thanks. You tube will suffice, for free.
Only a few videos? The article did say 40 networks.
There are already TV apps on the market (even payed ones are less with a one time payment) plus websites that have live streaming stations, I feel sorry for the poor suckers who gets sold into this.
