iPhone 4 Will Make Video Calls

Apple today announced a video calling feature for the iPhone 4. FaceTime will use the front facing camera on the new iPhone to make 2-way video calls. Apple's FaceTime app will only work over Wi-Fi, between iPhone 4 devices, though Steve Jobs says Apple is working with carriers to provide cellular network support after 2010. Though Apple's FaceTime is proprietary, Apple is opening access to the standard so that developers can integrate the feature.

Most importantly: Compatible with Evo?
I assume no, from the start... but it would suck to only be able to voice chat evo to evo or iphone to iphone.
And upload speeds have to be exceptable. And really Tmo's HSPA+ is the only one with anywhere close to good upload speeds.

Gee... way to kill innovation. Its really the only thing I truly despise about the new plans.
