Verizon Wireless has announced that on June 23 it will be holding a press event to reveal the "next generation of Droid" from Motorola. According to Verizon Wireless, executives from Motorola, Adobe, Google and Verizon Wireless will be there. Adobe's presence strongly suggests that the new device will run Android 2.2 Froyo and be equipped with Flash Player 10.1. Motorola's CEO had recently said that the company plans to release more Droid phones with Verizon Wireless this summer.

Friggin Huge
Personally 3.7in is just fine for me.
But appearently these monster screen smartphones are hot sellers, based just on the HD2, and Evo.

Holy crap is that thing friggin huge. The Evo is already uncomfortable, this thing looks like a hand breaker.
I've seen reviewers fit a Dell Streak in their front pockets, so...
This phone scares me
Still iffy about Blur.. but if the droid2 has HALF of what people are expecting (so the x with stock android).. I might sign a contract for the first time in 3 years.
The question to ask is...
Or will that be one thing Droid doesn't do? 😲
Cause Rumors point to a 1ghz processor.. and a TI would be INSANE
