Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 Nearing Final Build

According to Cnet, Microsoft expects to finish development of Windows Phone 7 within "a few weeks." Windows Phone 7 is due to launch by the holiday shopping season, and Microsoft's carrier and handset partners need the code well in advance for testing purposes. Microsoft vice president Terry Myerson said, "They take all the burden of support calls and all the burden of selling it. They want it months ahead of time so they can learn how to sell, learn how to support it." The core software is already finished. Microsoft will spend the next few weeks tweaking it so it will run well on different types of hardware. It is specifically working to refine the user experience and improve battery life. Microsoft told Cnet it is working with a number of different companies for the initial launch. Myserson specifically mentioned chip makers Broadcom and Qualcomm; handset makers LG, HTC, and Samsung; and carriers AT&T and T-Mobile. Microsoft decided in January 2009 to start from scratch to rebuild its mobile platform. It gave itself two years to finalize the product and should meet its holiday 2010 timeframe. Windows Phone 7 was formally introduced in February.

I hope this is really good.
I also need something more compatiable with MS Office.
But I'd like to make something other than an Android my second phone. Windows sounds like a good choice.
So. . .
Can't wait for the new "fanboys" to join the crowd!
blandroid, windoze and the ever so popular iSheep will be going at it like cats and dogs!
There will be drive-by shootings, assualts and rampet name-calling, it will be amazing!
