Apple today released a new app for MobileMe subscribers. The Find My iPhone app brings the remote find and wipe service to Apple's handheld platform. Now, instead of logging into the desktop site, subscribers can use one iOS device to find another, lost iOS device. So, you can use your iPad to find the iPhone you left behind in a bar, for instance. Devices must be registered with the Find My iPhone service, but the app does not need to be installed for the lost iOS device to be found. The app is free but it only works with a paid MobileMe subscription.
