Verizon Wireless Halts KIN Sales
Jul 19, 2010, 11:45 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Verizon Wireless confirmed for Phone Scoop today that it is no longer selling the KIN devices by Microsoft. Verizon Wireless spokesperson Brenda Raney said, "Verizon Wireless will no longer sell the KIN One and KIN Two in our company owned stores. Existing customers should not be impacted. There are no current plans to change any of the services associated with either the phone or the customers’ services." The KIN One and KIN Two went on sale in May, but Microsoft announced its intent to kill the phones off after they'd been available for sale for less than two months.

Were *ANY* ever sold?
I can't imagine *anyone* buying one. They had zero redeeming qualities, and you could buy a better phone for much less.
They weren't even attractive, nor were they easy to use. It is one of the few cases I've seen of a phone making a terrible first impression and it only going downhill.
