Samsung's Haven Aimed at the Silver-Haired Set

Verizon Wireless and Samsung today announced the Haven, a new flip phone that is being targeted at older users. The Haven features a 2.2-inch internal display, adjustable fonts for better visibility, and a voice-capable menu system that reads menu choices aloud. The Haven also has dedicated keys for 911, speakerphone, voicemail, voice commands, and ICE (in case of emergency) contacts. The Haven will include some wellness and health programs, such as a pill reminder, fitness trainer, soothing music, and medical information app. The Haven will be available starting Juiy 29 for $40 with a new contract.
