Documents found on the Federal Communication Commission web site provide a few details about an unannounced device from Chinese handset maker ZTE. According to the FCC, the A310 is a tri-band CDMA device with support for 1700MHz AWS spectrum. It also has Bluetooth. Pictures show the A310 to be a bar-style QWERTY phone with a 1.3 megapixel camera, headset port and USB port. It has dedicated keys for the speakerphone and camera. The draft user manual references Cricket and Cricket-branded services, which meshes with the 1700MHz AWS compatibility. The draft user manual also refers to the A310 as the MSGM8 II. Cricket has previously sold a device with the MSGM8 name. Neither ZTE nor Cricket has yet announced the A310.

Kinda Sucky

the phone looks like another Blackberry rip-off and the 1.3 MP camera is lame. Unless it is a forward facing camera, the 1.3 is from the stone age. The manufacturers should state what kind of USB connecter it takes as well so you can get the correct type of charger (mini-USB, micro-USB, etc.). I doesn't look like a touch screen either. I think I am spoiled with the touch screen, but I like the ability to do things by touching.

Best.Headline.Ever.

True story.
This story seems to be riddled with some sort of obscure code.

Weird.
