Verizon Testing the Unlimited Plan Waters in Gulf States
Aug 3, 2010, 10:47 AM by Philip Berne
Verizon Wireless is currently offering unlimited plans to select customers in Texas and Louisiana in a limited-time trial. The new service, dubbed Unlimited Any Mobile, lets users talk to any other mobile phone, regardless of carrier, without worrying about minutes. The service is similar to Sprint's Any Mobile, Anytime plan, which also offers unlimited mobile-to-mobile calling regardless of network. Verizon Wireless' plans offer unlimited mobile calling plus 450 or 900 minutes for $60 and $80 respectively, with similar family share plans starting at $100 for 700 minutes. The plans also offer unlimited text messaging. Eligible customers can subscribe to the new plan through October 31.

I think the cellphone manufacturer rules regarding lawsuits should apply here. Sprint thought of it first, Verizon is copying them, so Sprint should sue for millions with the intent of preventing Verizon from selling another cellphone plan in the US. That's the proper way to overeact, right?
Well it's a start...

but Whorizon is still Whorizon. Arrogant, pompous, controlling, overrated, overhyped and overpriced. No thanks. Love my Sprint and 4G. Still a better deal on the other side of the pond. Unlimited data can't be beat
