Today Bitstream, maker of the Bolt mobile browser, and GetJar announced a new partnership that provides Bolt users with ready access to GetJar's mobile application store. Bolt will add a link to GetJar's storefront to its browser options. GetJar says it has over 70,000 free applications, which run on any handset that supports Java ME (BlackBerry, Symbian, etc.). The Bolt browser is a free alternative for Java-based phones.

Getjar is next to useless. Most of the apps are either demos, adware, or site shortcuts. Oh, and they only run on Nokias ;/
I have downloaded applications from GetJar which run on phones other than Nokias.
