with a few tweaks the GPS on my captivate works just fine
SUPL settings.......
Server FQDN Type: AUTO Config
(this is MUCH better than supl.google.com for me)
App settings........
Operation mode: MS based
Accuracy:100
Skyhook: on
That's it for the settings
one more thing
Turn Wifi off before you start an app
that needs gps
I get locks in seconds almost always
Didn't know there was a problem...
Serioually, I have several Garmin products, including an iQue 3600 PDA/GPS, a ForeRunner 201 and a ForeRunner 205 for running. And none of those come close the to performance I'm getting with my Captivate. This phone is amazing!
