Apple today made iOS 4.1 available to the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 3G. Apple says iOS 4.1 has fixed the proximity sensor bug and performance issues on the iPhone 3G. It also adds a number of new features, including High Dynamic Range (HDR) image capture; Game Center is now also built into iOS; the ability to upload HD video captured with the iPhone via Wi-Fi; TV rentals; and the ability to conduct FaceTime video chats with users of the new iPod Touch.

Okay, I'll Say it
If truth in advertising truly existed Apple would name ios 4.1 "crap that we should of released two and a half years ago" or better yet " Things you can already do with a JAILBROKEN IPhone now made legitimate" food job Steve, way to stay ahead of the curve. Why don't you go do a tandem jump with a stressed out Foxcom employee (without the net)...
iTunes 10 is also available
Upgraded last night, and to be honest, the most striking difference is that the icon changed... that's actually going to take some getting used to.
haha, yeah.
Everything else on iTunes 10 is juuuuust different enough to make you notice.
It's a LOT cleaner now. I can't describe how, but it is definitely nicer.
That happened a week ago.
iTunes for Windows still sucks but I will give them credit that version 10.0 sucks significantly less than previous versions...in particular, it appears to have fixed the speed problem.....in the past...I would click on the iTunes icon....then go brew...

Well--
--it does speed things along.
Can someone test out a 3G?
I don't get home until 8 tonight...
downloading it now...
I'll let you know what it's like!
Kind of looking foreward to that camera update, looks really really nice.
