RIM and Verizon Intro BlackBerry 6 Ready Curve 9330

Research In Motion and Verizon Wireless today announced the BlackBerry Curve 9330, a refreshed version of the Curve line. The 9330 has been given a slight redesign on the exterior, and it has a typical full QWERTY keyboard with dedicated media keys along the top edge. It offers 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, GPS with navigation software, Bluetooth 2.1, and support for microSD cards up to 32GB. It has a 2 megapixel fixed-focus camera with video capture. It keeps the same 320 x 240 display from previous Curves. The Curve 9330 will be available through Verizon's business sales channels starting September 16. It will hit Verizon's online and retail sales channels in the coming weeks. It will cost $30 after a rebate with a new contract. The Curve 9330 ships with BlackBerry OS 5 on board, but Verizon Wireless said the it will be updated to BlackBerry 6 at some point in the coming months.
