Nokia Intros C3 Touch and Type Candybar Phone

Nokia today announced the new C3 Touch and Type handset. This candybar-style handset has both a traditional 12-key dialpad and a touch-enabled screen. The display measures 2.4 inches across the diagonal with 240 x 320 resolution. The C3 Touch and Type is a Series 40-based phone that has quad-band GSM/EDGE and quad-band WCDMA radios, as well as Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), GPS, Bluetooth and FM with RDS. It also has a 5 megapixel camera with flash and VGA video capture at 15 frames per second. The C3 Touch and Type comes with the latest version of Nokia's messaging, email and IM applications. It supports microSD cards up to 32GB. It will ship during the fourth quarter.

Would snap one up if it had GPS!

But alas, despite the PhoneScoop article, no GPS or any sort of mapping functionality are mentioned in the specs. 😢
