Google today announced several new features that are primarily targeted at its business users, but will have a wider impact on most Google services customers. Google said that within "the next few weeks" that users of Google Docs, its online word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation tools, will be able to edit their documents from the browser of Android devices. To-date, Android and iOS devices have only been able to view Google Documents. This will be the first time that editing from a mobile device is possible. Google also said that Apple's iPad will gain the ability to edit Google Docs the same time Android does, and that other mobile platforms will be able to edit Google Docs soon.
