Samsung today said that it is pushing out an over-the-air update to the Galaxy S Captivate, which runs on AT&T's network. According to Samsung, the update improves the Captivate's GPS performance. The update also speeds media scanning time, adds the full version of Quickoffice and addresses Microsoft Exchange 2003 policy support. The update will be pushed to Captivate users over the course of the next few weeks. Samsung and AT&T are not providing the Android 2.2 Froyo update at this time, and have not announced any details regarding when that will be.
