Nokia Ships N8, But Delays U.S. Deliveries by a Month

Nokia has begun shipping the N8 smartphone to customers who pre-ordered it. The N8 is available in the U.S. directly from Nokia's web site for $550, though it won't ship in the U.S. until the end of October. Previously, Nokia said it would ship by the end of September.

Nokia's at its inflexion point

If it yields good sales, then Nokia will stay on track churning up more and more symbians. If it fails to accomplish its sales goals ( which is what I think will happen), then Nokia will have to take a long hard look at the mirror and try to figure out why the number one phone manufacturer is producing high-end phones that no one wants.

Major Clarification For Pre-Order Customers!!!

Going into the Nokia Website USA; The front banner clearly reads that the N8 will begin shipping for pre-order customers next week!!!
