Ron Garriques, leader of Dell's mobile communications group, has decided to leave the company by the end of January 2011. Garriques was hired away from Motorola in early 2007, where he was head of Motorola's mobile phone business under former CEO Ed Zander. At Dell, Garriques was responsible for bringing the Dell Aero and Dell Streak (both Android devices) to market. He will provide Dell with consulting services once his full-time employment ends. Garriques hasn't said where he will work next.
