Opera today announced that Opera Mobile 10.1 has graduated from beta status to a full release. The most important new feature is support for geolocation, which will let the browser use GPS data to provide more accurate information based on the user's location. This feature must be opted into. Opera has also added just-in-time compilation to the browser's JavaScript engine, which Opera says improves speed performance over Opera Mobile 10.0 by a factor of nine. Opera Mobile 10.1 is available for smartphones based on Symbian^3, and Symbian S60 3rd and 5th editions.
