doubleTwist today made a major new version of its AirSync software available to Android handsets with a new feature called AirTwist. After enabling the AirTwist option in the doubleTwist app, the user's device will automatically appear on an Xbox or PS3's media menu and can be used to stream media from the handset through the gaming console to a TV set. AirTwist is available as a free upgrade for existing customers of doubleTwist AirSync. It is compatible with Android devices running 1.6 and up. doubleTwist says that it will support media streaming to more DLNA devices in the future.
