The new software offers a wide range of new features, which RIM says were added due to user feedback. RIM has given @replies push notification support; Direct Messages now appear in a threaded, conversational style similar to BBM; auto-complete support has been added to hashtags; it has better integration with other social feeds; retweets have been updated and are now included in the timeline; and touch screen BlackBerries can now perform new touch gestures to control their timeline.
