Microsoft has begun distributing the 'NoDo' update to devices running Windows Phone 7. The update adds copy and paste, better Marketplace search, and cleans up some bugs. Users can get the update by connecting to their PC. The HTC Arrive ships with NoDo installed.

WHAT Update?!
I am so tired of reading about how an update is available for the Windows Phone 7 OS. I own one and the Zune software states that I am up to date. Somehow I cannot update anything. I guess I need an iPhone to get an update to my OS. For WP7 users, the LACK of updates are more newsworthy than the alleged availability of a VAPO-date to our phones.

So... just like an iPhone.
If I recall correctly, a message should go out over the air telling you to update, but that relies on carriers, so it may be a few days.
Too bad the rumors weren't true...
Hopefully Microsoft will spice up their updating schedules and get more, faster.
And for goodness sake, Microsoft, catch up with every other phone company in the world and provide custom ringtone support.

Let's hope that the carriers don't block it and let's hope that MS has worked out whatever issues with Samsung devices updating. A smooth update will be key to WP7 continued success. If they can a 90%-95% update success, they just might start winning ...
