Following the news of its roaming agreement with Sprint from several weeks ago, SouthernLINC today has launched nationwide Push To Talk (PTT) two-way radio and data services. SouthernLINC customers can now make PTT calls to numbers outside of its regional service area, and may also roam onto Sprint's iDEN network and make PTT calls when out of the SouthernLINC service footprint. In addition to roaming, SouthernLINC also introduced six "So Easy" plans, which offer unlimited nationwide and regional PTT / group PTT, unlimited incoming text messages, long distance, voice mail, caller ID, call waiting, call forwarding, call hold and three-way calling. Outgoing messages and data charges cost extra.
