Nokia has recently made the E7 Symbian-based smartphone available to U.S. buyers through Amazon.com and the Nokia USA web site. Amazon is charging $649 for it, and Nokia is charging $679. The E7 has a flip up display and QWERTY keyboard.
wTf?!
non-removable battery??? ugh, nokia is taking design cues from apple now? how annoying. that and the fact that the camera isn't auto-focus are the only real major downfalls to the hardware. otherwise a very impressive phone.
#EPICFAIL
I said it before and I repeat again: Nokia makes splendid pieces of hardware. But at this price and running Symbian... NO WAY!
(Also at this price I would expect a faster processor)
A beautiful--
--well built, innovative smartphone. Perfectly capable of doing anything any other smartphone can do. Props to Nokia.
Very capable but what about voice dialing with it?
Also, its WCDMA data speed max is only 10 Mbps just when T-Mo is rolling out its 40 Mbps network.
innovative?? the OS on that thing is ancient. the hardware is amazing though.
Nokia fan but...
I'm an unabashed fan of Nokia and Symbian. But there is no way I'd pay $650 for this phone, especially since the N8 is going for $400.
yep and with the E7 and the X7 coming the N8 price should be coming down more....
ATT Availability
I ATT still slated to get this phone?
