Apple Confirms White iPhone Arriving Soon

The Wall Street Journal today reports that Apple has confirmed that the white version of the iPhone 4 will be shipping soon. An unnamed Apple spokesperson indicated to the Journal that the problems it had manufacturing the white iPhone have been solved, and it is on track to ship this spring. Apple's confirmation today follows a report yesterday wherein sources cited by Bloomberg also said the white iPhone's release was imminent. The white iPhone 4 was to be available last summer, but saw several delays due to manufacturing problems that pushed its release into the indefinite future. Apple did not confirm which carrier — AT&T or Verizon Wireless — would offer the white iPhone 4, nor an exact ship date.
