Adobe Offers Flash Work-Around for iOS Devices

Adobe recently announced that it will add support for HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) to its Flash Media Server. HLS was created by Apple for streaming audio/video content to the browser of its iOS devices and desktop computers. By adding support for HLS to its Flash Media Server, Adobe will allow content creators who publish in Flash to stream their content to iOS devices without the need to completely rewrite it. Apple's iOS devices do not run Flash content, and are therefore unable to view Flash-derived video on the web. This work around will eventually result in more video available on the web to Apple's iOS devices.

Come on Steve, just run Flash already..I would love an ipad but I deal with companies that use flash video so I must have a device that will display it..I would love to give up the laptop but this one issue has kept me from doing so..
