ITC Staffers Say Nokia and HTC Not Guilty in Apple Suit

Staff members of the International Trade Commissions are recommending that Nokia and HTC be cleared of charges that they infringed on patents held by Apple. Apple alleged that the two companies were violating its patents pertaining to smartphones, and called out HTC's Android devices in particular. The ITC decision won't be finalized until a judge makes a ruling later this year. Earlier this year, Nokia lost a similar ruling in a patent case it has against Apple. Apple has hoped the ITC would agree to block HTC and Nokia from importing their products to the U.S.
