Samsung has hit rival Apple with new lawsuits over intellectual property, this time filing in the U.S. Last week, Samsung filed lawsuits against Apple in Germany, Japan, and Korea in response to a lawsuit filed against it by Apple. The new lawsuit in the U.S. accuses Apple of infringing on 10 patents, one of which covers displaying the time on the iPhone's display. "As users travel across time zones, the ability of a mobile device to update to the local time is important for tracking appointments and meetings," the lawsuit said. Apple, Samsung, and others have resorted to using IP-related lawsuits in recent years to force licensing deals and settlements. Apple hasn't responded to the latest lawsuit.
