Siemens Announces New GSM Phones

Siemens today announced three new tri-band GSM phones specifically for the Americas. All three are similar to models recently announced for Europe, except adding GSM 850 in place of GSM 900.

CX66: Bar-style model with large display, VGA camera, video recording, Java, speakerphone, infrared, 11 MB of memory, and changeable covers.
CF63: Clamshell model with loop antenna, color main display, external display, speakerphone, voice dialing, and Java.
C66: Entry-level camera phone with color display, changeable covers, speakerphone, and Java.

All three phones are expected to be released in the 3rd quarter of 2004.
